Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 2–4 business days, excluding weekends and statutory holidays.
During busy seasons, promotions, or new collection launches, processing may take a little longer.
Orders containing custom-made products, special editions, or curated gift boxes may require additional processing time. Any longer timelines will be communicated in the product description or at checkout.
Shipping Within Canada 🇨🇦
Bound After Dark is proudly based in British Columbia, Canada.
We currently ship within Canada.
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address, package size, weight, and available shipping services.
Estimated shipping times will be provided at checkout when available.
Please note that processing time and shipping transit time are separate.

Any free-shipping promotions, if offered, will be subject to the conditions stated at the time of the promotion.
Preorders & Special Editions
Some books and exclusive products may be offered for preorder.
Estimated availability or release dates will be provided in the product listing.
If your order includes preorder items and in-stock merchandise, the order may be held until all items are available unless a separate shipping arrangement is offered.
Packaging With Care
Every Bound After Dark order is thoughtfully packaged to help protect your books and merchandise during transit.
We want your unboxing experience to feel just as special as the story waiting inside.
Delayed or Missing Packages
Once your order has shipped, carrier delays may occasionally occur due to weather, holidays, or other circumstances outside our control.
If your package is significantly delayed or appears lost, please contact us so we can investigate and help resolve the issue.
Your rights under applicable consumer protection laws remain unaffected.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.
Include:
- Your order number
- A brief explanation of the issue
- Clear photographs of the product and packaging, if applicable
We will review the situation and arrange an appropriate resolution.
Incorrect Shipping Addresses

If you notice an error, contact us immediately.
If a package is returned because of an incorrect address, additional shipping charges may apply for reshipment where permitted by law.
International Shipping
At this time, Bound After Dark ships within Canada only.
We hope to expand our shipping destinations in the future.
